Questions, answered
Common questions about how BetterWell's telehealth process works. Can't find what you need? Our care desk is happy to help.
You meet with a licensed clinician by video or phone instead of an in-person office visit. If testing would help, labs are drawn locally or at home, and your clinician reviews the results with you and adjusts your plan remotely.
Not always. Every plan starts with a thorough evaluation and all appropriate pretreatment testing for you. Labs help in many situations, but not every one. In perimenopause, for example, hormone levels can rise and fall from day to day, so your symptoms and history often tell us more than a single blood test.
Hormone therapy and all other care are available to patients located in Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Nevada, New Mexico, Ohio, Virginia, and Washington — you need to be physically in one of these states at the time of your appointment. Peptide therapy is the exception: it's available in every state. Our care desk can confirm coverage for your location.
Your health information is protected by HIPAA-compliant software that meets federal privacy and security regulations and is built specifically for secure telehealth visits and online healthcare.
