Terms and Conditions

Effective date: January 1, 2026

Licensure notice: Except for peptide therapy, which is available in every state, patients must be physically located in a state where their provider is licensed at the time of their appointment. BetterWell's clinicians are currently licensed in Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Nevada, New Mexico, Ohio, Virginia, and Washington.

Treatments are prescribed at the sole discretion of your licensed healthcare provider following an individualized clinical evaluation. Compounded medications are prepared by state-licensed compounding pharmacies. Compounded drugs are not reviewed or approved by the FDA for safety or efficacy, and results may vary based on individual physiology.

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of betterwellfl.com, our appointment booking process, and the telehealth services offered by BetterWell LLC ("BetterWell," "we," "us"). By booking a consultation or otherwise using our Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and physically located in a state where BetterWell's clinicians are licensed at the time of your appointment to use our clinical Services. You are responsible for providing accurate, complete health and contact information.

2. Nature of the Platform

BetterWell provides a technology platform through which independent, licensed healthcare providers deliver telehealth consultations. Treatment decisions — including whether to prescribe any medication and what dose or formulation to prescribe — are made solely by your treating provider based on an individualized clinical evaluation. No specific outcome, treatment, or prescription is guaranteed by booking a consultation.

3. Booking & Intake Responsibilities

  • You agree to provide truthful, accurate information when booking and during any intake forms or consultations.
  • You are responsible for confirming you are physically located in a state where your provider is licensed at the time of your appointment.
  • Basic booking information (name, date of birth, contact details, address, and the state where you'll be located for your visit) is collected as part of scheduling. Detailed medical history and other protected health information are collected only through our HIPAA-compliant clinical intake process, never through this website directly.

4. Payment & Fees

Consultation, membership, and medication fees are disclosed to you prior to purchase. Fees are billed to the payment method on file. See our Cancellation & Refund Policy and Good Faith Estimate Notice for details on pricing transparency, rescheduling, and refunds.

5. Prohibited Conduct

  • Misrepresenting your identity, location, age, or medical history.
  • Using the Services for any unlawful purpose or to seek medication without a legitimate medical need.
  • Attempting to interfere with, reverse-engineer, or compromise the security of the Site or our booking and intake systems.
  • Recording or distributing a telehealth visit without the consent of all participants.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, and software — is owned by or licensed to BetterWell and is protected by intellectual property law. You may not reproduce or distribute Site content without our prior written consent.

7. Disclaimers

The Site provides general information and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something read on this Site.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BetterWell and its affiliates, officers, and personnel will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will not exceed the amount you paid to BetterWell in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time for violation of these Terms or for clinical or safety reasons determined by a licensed provider.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, except where superseded by the law of the state in which you received care.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
