You don't feel like yourself anymore.

You're tired when you shouldn't be. Your sleep, mood, focus, or body have changed — and the things that always worked don't seem to work now. You're not imagining it, and you don't have to figure it out alone.

At BetterWell, we listen to your whole story, look at the full picture, and help you understand what may be changing — so you can decide your next step with clarity.

“I want someone to look at everything together — and help me understand what's going on.”

Why so many women finally reach out
Does This Sound Familiar?

It's rarely just one thing.

Many women notice several changes at once and are told to treat each one separately. These may or may not be connected — but they deserve to be looked at together.

Energy & sleep

  • “I wake up tired, even after a full night.”
  • “I'm awake at 2 or 3 a.m. and my mind won't shut off.”
  • “By the afternoon, I'm completely done.”

Mood & mental sharpness

  • “I'm snapping at people I love — and that isn't me.”
  • “I know what I want to say, but I can't find the word.”
  • “I feel anxious for no clear reason.”

Body & weight

  • “I haven't changed anything, but my body has.”
  • “It's settling around my stomach, and nothing moves it.”
  • “I feel puffy and uncomfortable in my clothes.”

Periods & hot flashes

  • “My periods are completely unpredictable now.”
  • “I only get one good week a month.”
  • “I suddenly get hot and sweaty, and wake up soaked.”

Strength & recovery

  • “My workouts feel harder, and I don't recover.”
  • “My muscles and joints ache when I get up.”
  • “My body feels older than I am.”

Intimacy & connection

  • “I love my partner, but I have no desire.”
  • “Sex has become uncomfortable.”
  • “I thought I just had to accept this.”

Nodding along to more than one of these? That's a good reason to talk with someone who will look at everything together. Nothing here is too small, too personal, or "just part of getting older" to bring up.

"I'm Doing Everything Right"

Same effort. Different results. It's not a willpower problem.

You've eaten less. Moved more. Added the cardio, the supplements, the sleep aids. Maybe something helped for a while — then it didn't. When your body starts responding differently, trying harder at the same things often isn't the answer. Understanding what has changed is.

"My Labs Came Back Normal"

Everything looks "normal." You don't feel normal.

Lab results matter — and they're one part of a bigger picture. Your symptoms, menstrual and medical history, age, risk factors, and how you're actually living day to day matter too. We take time to consider all of it, so the conversation doesn't end at a number on a page.

A Different Experience Of Hormone Care

You're a person, not a lab report. Your care should feel that way.

You may be worried about being brushed off — or about being sold something before anyone really listens. Here's how we do things instead.

01

We listen

Unhurried time to hear what's changed, what you've tried, what worries you, and what you want back.

02

We look at the whole picture

Your symptoms together, your history, and appropriate lab testing when it's needed.

03

We explain

Your results and options in plain English — including benefits, risks, and alternatives.

04

We build your plan

Based on you — your results, preferences, and goals — not a preset package. Hormones are one option, never the automatic one.

05

We stay with you

Check-ins, messaging, repeat labs when appropriate, and adjustments as you go. You won't be left on your own after you start.

What Are You Hoping To Get Back?

Not "25 again." Just you again.

In your first visit, we'll ask what feeling better would let you do again. Your answer shapes everything that follows. Every person's path is different, and we'll be honest with you about what's realistic.

Waking up rested
Energy that lasts past 3 p.m.
Thinking clearly at work
Feeling steady and patient
Comfort in your own body
Closeness with your partner
Wanting to work out again
Recognizing yourself in the mirror
How To Get Started

Getting help is simpler than you think. Here's exactly what happens.

No guesswork, no surprise steps.

1

Tell us about you

Click Talk With a Provider and complete a short online intake form. It asks for your contact details, a health-history overview, and any medications or supplements you take.

Tip: have a list of your current medications and supplements handy.

2

Pick your time

Choose Initial Consultation and pick a day and time that works for you — every visit is a telehealth video visit. You'll get a confirmation right away, plus reminders by email and text before your visit.

Need to change it? Reschedule or cancel online with 24 hours' notice.

3

Talk with your provider

Your consultation is a real conversation about your symptoms, history, goals, and concerns — including the ones that feel awkward to say out loud. You'll leave knowing what we recommend next, and why.

Come with questions. There's no such thing as a silly one here.

After Your Consultation

Labs, if appropriate

If testing would help, we'll tell you which labs, why, what they cost, and how to get them done.

Your personal plan

We review results together and walk through your options, including benefits, risks, and costs. You decide what feels right — treatment starts only when it's appropriate for you.

Ongoing support

Follow-up visits, check-ins, and messaging so we can see how you're feeling and adjust along the way.

Meet Your Providers

You'll be heard here.

Too many women are told their symptoms are “just part of getting older,” or handed a one-size-fits-all solution before anyone really listens. Here, you'll be heard. Your provider looks at the whole picture, explains things in a way that actually makes sense, and builds a plan with you — then stays with you as things change.

What Will This Cost?

Clear costs. No surprises.

Because every plan is personal, the total depends on what you and your provider decide together. What we promise is that you'll know exactly what's included and what's separate before you commit to anything.

Self-pay practice — we don't bill insurance. Many patients use HSA or FSA funds toward eligible visits and labs.

Your Questions, Answered Honestly

It's normal to feel unsure. Let's talk about it.

No. Hormone therapy isn't right for everyone, and it's never automatic. We start by listening and evaluating, then walk through all your options — including ones that don't involve hormones.

It depends on you. Risk isn't the same for every person or every type of treatment — medication, dose, route, timing, and your personal and family history all matter. We discuss benefits, risks, and alternatives with you before any treatment begins.

Lab results are one important part of the picture. We also consider your symptoms, menstrual and medical history, age, risk factors, and how you're feeling day to day.

Women naturally make testosterone in small amounts. If it's ever considered for you, dosing and monitoring are tailored for women, side effects are discussed up front, and the dose can be adjusted or stopped.

That's exactly why follow-up is built in. We check in, reassess, and adjust your plan, and you'll hear back from our care team in under 24 hours between visits.

Yes, please reach out. Your history shapes what makes sense for you, and we'll talk it through during your consultation.

Yes — every visit at BetterWell is a telehealth video visit with a licensed clinician. You'll need to be physically located in a state we serve at the time of your appointment: Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Nevada, New Mexico, Ohio, Virginia, and Washington.

If they're affecting your sleep, work, relationships, or how you feel about yourself, they're worth a conversation. You don't need to wait until things are unbearable.

Licensure notice: Except for peptide therapy, which is available in every state, patients must be physically located in a state where their provider is licensed at the time of their appointment. BetterWell's clinicians are currently licensed in Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Nevada, New Mexico, Ohio, Virginia, and Washington.

Treatments are prescribed at the sole discretion of your licensed healthcare provider following an individualized clinical evaluation. Compounded medications are prepared by state-licensed compounding pharmacies. Compounded drugs are not reviewed or approved by the FDA for safety or efficacy, and results may vary based on individual physiology.

The information on this page is educational and is not a diagnosis or a substitute for individual medical advice. Not every symptom is hormone-related, and treatment is recommended only after evaluation and when clinically appropriate. Individual results vary.
